Background: Globally, millions are infected with HIV/AIDS, and more than half of them adolescents aged between 12-25 years. Inadequate knowledge, negative attitudes, risky practices major barriers to HIV/AIDS prevention. This study seeks establish the regarding among high school learners in South Africa. Methods: Data were collected from a randomly selected sample 422 two schools using pre-tested questionnaires. analysed SPSS version 16. Results: Participants had good practice levels, however, misconceptions about transmission, behaviour or also found. Knowledge was associated age, social status, sources information.
